I photographed more than 500 weddings of couples from different countries: China, Russia, Czech Republic, France, United Kingdom … but a few days ago, I had the immense privilege of photographing, for the very first time, a Japanese couple that came on honeymoon to Mauritius. I am very proud about them choosing me! Pure moment of happiness!
Shoko and Tsuyoshi set foot at LUX Belle Mare for their honeymoon. They wanted to enjoy the paradisiacal setting to make glamorous and fun photos, in accordance with their dreams. They were elegant, refined and cheerful. I quickly put them in confidence and together we were able to restore the extraordinary atmosphere of this beautiful day. All the elements were at hand for a successful photo session: a beautiful white sandy beach, a beautiful bride and groom, a sparkling lagoon, a radiant sun, a picturesque nature that only Mauritius offers.
The beach is my favorite place for romantic and funny photos. I always try to make simple, descriptive photos, which are close to the reality. On that day, a stray dog invited itself to the session and brought an original touch to the photos.
